The
Fresenius 2008 series were designed for flexibility. They all feature ultrafiltration,
fixed proportioning, heat disinfecting, variable dialysate flow, and FDS08 computer
documentation system capabilities. The easy-to-operate touch panel in the E model is
retrofittable to the C and the D machines and the panel of the H system is retrofittable
to the C, D, and the E model machines. All of the models can be upgraded using modules for
on-line monitoring and control systems. The Fresenius 2008 series machines are unique
"closed loop" volumetric dialysate control systems. ultrafiltration is measured
on-line and patients can be dialyzed with coefficient dialyzers without fear of excess
fluid removal.
The 2008H machine is equipped with advanced therapy options
including automatic blood pressure monitoring as well as computer documentation
capabilities. |
